5-star hotel committed to carbon cutting
Hotel Schlössle, a forward-thinking Hotel in Tallinn and part of a prestigious hotel group, partnered with ClimateScore. After a quick data collection, the hotel received a report with CO2 graphics and overall practical recommendations. Additionally, they received a package for storytelling, incl. press release, social media content, and badges.
ClimateScores specialist facilitated in cooperation with the hotel manager a climate workshop, bringing all employees together to combine CO2 results, climate training, and tangible actions. This engagement aims to drive the team’s success in reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint.
Based on ClimateScore’s recommendations, the hotel identified annual cost savings of 37,000€. These savings are split across various impact categories, and employees in housekeeping, the kitchen, reception, and the technical team have contributed their ideas for action. A dedicated sustainability team has been established to coordinate the implementation efforts.
